Free Vastu Tips - Part 2:

This is 2^nd part of our free Vastu tips. Vastu is a science of direction and most of the tips for Vastu are direction based. Many people are NOT well conversant with handling compass and taking proper direction. Unless directions are taken properly, most of the tips shared on Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook become useless.

Here we have compiled a list of vastu tips which are NOT based on direction and can be easily implemented at home or work place. Most importantly, the effects of these changes can be easily felt by the residents.

Clocks / Watch / Timepiece:
All clocks (wall clock, hand watch, pocket watch etc) should be in working condition irrespective of the fact that it is in use or not. There are broadly 16 directions in Vastu. Each direction has its own speciality. When a defunct clock is kept in any of the 16 directions, the effectiveness of that direction gets reduced. Hence, its best to keep the clock running.

Please note other important things about a clock:

1)     Clocks should not be gifted.

2)     If the clock needs repair or change of battery, please get it done.

3)     Never use a broken clock.

4)     If you need to give a clock to anyone, take a token amount of Rs. 5-10 as the price clock.

Filling the Holes:
Many times, we have to drill holes in walls for various reasons. It may be for hanging paintings, for passing pipe of gas cylinder or A/C. Holes in walls lead to leakage in the property of that direction. It is best to plug all the holes which are NO more in use. This will reduce the losses in the home and work place.

Leaking Taps:
This is related to three things.

One that leaking taps will cause leakage in the property of that direction and will cause losses in the house.

There are 5 basic elements i.e., Water, Fire, Air, Earth and Space. Leaking water weakens water elements and may cause serious trouble like child miscarriage, health issues, lack of attraction etc as per vastu.

If leak of tap is in South zone (Fire zone) or South-West Zone (Earth zone), the problems as per vastu may range from debt (money) problem, lack of sleep, problem in marriage etc

RO water reject water:
 Wastage of water from RO in the house is the cause of a major problem. Make sure that reject water of RO is used for sweeping floors, watering plants or any other household use. For every litre of water that is purified in RO, it rejects approximately 4 litres of water. In general, wastage of water is the source of many problems that we face in life. Water is an element which must be treated with utmost respect in any house.

Dampness in Walls:
Once again caused by water, seepage (सीलन, dampness) is a source of many problems in the house as per vastu ranging from illness to insomnia. It weakens the water elements and causes problems especially in the Fire and Earth zone as explained before. Finding a solution to wall dampness is not a small task but it is very necessary to fix it for enjoying a healthy wholesome life.
